First 1000 Miles - A Gary France 'Best Practice'
In Gary France's wonderful book 'France In America' http://www.garysfrance.com/france-in-america/ Gary made a point of every 1000 miles he travelled across America on his Road King "The Leading Ladies" he recorded the event with a photograph of wherever he was. We are also going to adopt this best practice - thanks Gary.

It can become a little addictive watching your odometer to see exactly when each thousand mile point is. I missed one on my trip around America, and felt obliged to turn around and ride back the 30 miles or so to where I should have stopped!
