Brown Bear Video - How lucky we were

On Tuesday 27th May we rode out of Vancouver east towards Osoyoos where we planned to cross back over the border into the USA, North Washington State.  The ride was overcast but nevertheless very scenic, but as we turned off Canadian Highway 1 East at Hope onto Canadian Highway 3 East it became spectacular - here's why.

  1. But I don't get it John - there's no porkpie hat or his shirt-collar & tie? (no shirt though)

    1. You're so right Tony…. I'm curious as to how we follow this one! We may have peaked too early!

  2. I suppose it's because you weren't in Yellowstone, & this was his country cousin across the border ..just a nice experience to see one wild like that

So are you near Cody now, or have you moved on?

    1. We are in Cody now. Tonight we are at the Rodeo which by all accounts is going to be spectacular. Standby for the post on that. Tomorrow we move on to another cowboy town - Deadwood on the trail of "wild Bill Hickok"

  3. I always feel a little sad for the bears. They are trying to find food and we keep moving suburbia into their territory. They are so neat to watch though, thanks for sharing the video.

    1. Likewise Trobaritz we do too. It seems there is more than enough room here and in Canada but we still keep 'bumping' up against each other!
