Au Revoir New Orleans

It's only natural, right and proper than when you spend a night in New Orleans you wake up with a thumping hang-over!  Well, we did it justice folks!

Here is our ride today up to Natchez in preparation tomorrow of riding part of the 'Natchez Trace Parkway' http://www.nps.gov/natr/index.htm  We are heading up to Clarksdale to immerse ourselves in the Mississippi Delta Blues Music Scene for a few days, and for first time do our laundry……well get it done by somebody else!

Our ride out of here will be a leisurely one for sure, just 182 miles, taking us across Lake Pontchartrain and up through the Homochitto National Forest.

  1. I rode the entire Trace about a year and a half ago...it really is beautiful, I think you'll enjoy it. If you get a chance stop and see Elvis Presley's birthplace in Tupelo MS, it's not far of the Trace...then you can tell everyone back home you saw where "The King" was born. :-)

Sounds like you're having a great time. Post some photos when you get a chance. Ride safe!

    Cheers,
    Curt

    1. Hi Curt, thanks for the guidance on visiting Elvis Presley's birth-place. We may do it, hadn't thought about it until your post - Cheers.
