Many people, especially bikers on our travels have recommended that once we reached Yellowstone National Park we should ride out of the South Exit and head towards Jackson. On this road we will get to enjoy the Grand Teton Mountains which are supposed to be spectacular. Stay tuned for the posts later.
Or go out the east entrance to Beartooth Pass. Also fantastic!
ReplyDeleteCheers Richards - we may just have to do it, although we were told last night that it has only just opened and there still 10ft - 12ft snow either side of the carved out road! That does sound potentially challenging.
DeleteOut of Cody you should take Chief Joseph Scenic byway and then the Beartooth highway to Red Lodge and don't miss the Custer Battlefield on the Little Big Horn.
ReplyDeleteHi Jim - thanks, so many folks have been kind enough to tell us about the Beartooth Highway it sounds great.
