GoPro First Test - USA 2014 Tour Preparation
During our USA Tour we plan to use two 'GoPro Hero 3+' camera's one on each bike to capture riding footage of some of the spectacular roads and wonderful sights we are bound to enjoy. But first we need to learn how to use them! Here is a short test film. This one should work both on an iPad and LapTop/Desk Top.

Just remember to mount the camera on the other side when you get there. ;)
ReplyDeleteWill do Chris - thanks.
ReplyDeleteActually remember to mount the camera on the left, on the right, facing forwards, backwards, sideways and in as many variations as you can. Making a video of clips that just point forward is okay, but it soon gets dull for the people watching. You will film long clips of scenes, but when making your videos, short and varied clips is the way to go. Aim to bin 95% of the bits you film and just use the best of the remaining 5%.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't forget to ruthlessly edit your videos. So many I see have scenes of some road that goes on and on and on and on and >click!<.
ReplyDeleteThanks Doug - we will do our best to make them interesting and short!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're not planning on delegating the video editing to me when you get home :) Wifey xx
ReplyDeleteNow there's a thought…..
